Lower CO2 Emissons
We have committed to the reduction of our CO2 emissions year on year, through the ongoing review of both our internal processes and the external processes of our material and logistics suppliers.
Higg Index
Our suppliers are assessed and measured by the social and environmental performance of the consumer goods and the environmental impact of the product under the Higg Index. Together, we ensure we identify, understand and measure areas consistently.
Global Recycled Standard Material
To ensure we have sustainable materials available through our supply chain processes and improve our environmental sustainability, we have implemented a GRS (Global Recycled Standard) certified process with specific suppliers to work exclusively with GRS-certified fabric mills. By sourcing these materials for our fashion accessories, we have reduced our global environmental impact and are committed to further developing an ethical product offer.
Our current recycled material offers in jewellery and accessory manufacturing processes:

Packaging
Almost all our packaging is sustainably sourced and made from recycled content. Whether in-store or online, packaging is an integral and necessary component of the concession business. From our transit plastics, product packaging to postal boxes, we continue to lessen our impact on the environment.
- 100% of our product packaging is made from FSC recycled card
- 100% of our transit polybags are made from recycled plastic
- 100% of our in-store shippers are made using recycled cardboard
- 100% of our distribution cartons are made from recycled cardboard
Corporate Responsibility
We prioritise building strong, long-lasting relationships with our suppliers, manufacturers, retail partners, and consumers. Committed to human rights, we have been members of the Ethical Trading Initiative. This enables us to collaborate with retailers, manufacturers, trade unions, and NGOs to improve working conditions, and we have adopted the ETI Base Code as our supply chain standard.
Smallworld Accessories are committed to offering products which meet the highest technical and quality standards. We work closely with our suppliers to ensure that all products meet the requirements of applicable EU and UK legislation, including REACH Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006. To uphold both regulatory compliance and our internal quality standards, testing samples from production are routinely submitted to approved, accredited third-party laboratories for testing. In addition, due diligence through in-store product testing is done to always ensure continued compliance.
